Excellent food and service. margaritas are excellent as well. Service is better on the weekdays than on the weekends. Stay away, especially Friday Saturday nights. You will wait for your food. It's usually worth it however. But don't be in a rush to go someplace.

Great service. The torta was pretty good. Wish it came with avocado and shredded lettuce instead of salad mix. Salsa was good, along with the chips.

Amazing charro beans - chicken chalupas were great! Def my favorite Mexican place in Kerrville!

Great Mexican restaurant. We had breakfast and it was really, really good. The service was a tad slow, considering how few patrons were in the restaurant. The decorations were authentic. I particularly liked the heavy, carved benches for the booths.

Dinner was excellent. Dining overlooking the creek was lovely. Light and thin chips (which I love) although the salsa was just adequate in flavor. The burrito was huge and everything was fresh (although you may not want lettuce in this hot item - they'll leave it out if you ask). The grilled ribeye was well flavored and surprisingly tender for a $14 dinner. Excellent fresh guac on the side. The molcajete was outstanding (beware the very hot bowl) and my companion declared he would eat an old shoe if that sauce was on it. Great beans (lots of lard -Yum!) and addictive house made corn tortillas. Recommended.

We went here around 12:30 on Friday afternoon. Needless to say it was packed. That says something about this restaurant. We had to wait about 10min. to be seated but that wasn't any problem. We were given a table, chips and salsa, and our drinks, and an apology for the wait which gave us time to look at the menu. We got the special, which was shrimp, chicken fajitas with rice and beans. It was very good and only $10.49. Will we be back? Definitely! But we'll try to beat the crowd.

We are from San Antonio and we're on our way home from a trip in Colorado! Decided to stop here!! It did not disappoint. The service was AMAZING. They seriously have the friendliest staff. The food was even better. My husband got the guadalajara plate! You have to get that!!! The waitress gave us stuff on the house to try to order for next time. We will be making the 40 minute trip to come back!
